Job Description

This on-site Talent Acquisition Specialist role at Northwestern Mutual Puget Sound focuses on full-time recruitment of financial advisors, leveraging outbound sourcing with a sales-driven approach. The base salary ranges from $65,000 to $85,000, with target total compensation of $120,000 to $140,000+.

Responsibilities

  • Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, and your own network
  • Conduct phone screens and initial interviews, guiding strong candidates to the next step
  • Lead candidates through the selection process, partnering with firm leadership on final interviews and decisions
  • Develop a referral network among our advisors, recognizing that top candidates often come from our best people
  • Record activity and conversion metrics weekly to monitor progress

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or recruiting, with a proven ability to persuade people to action
  • Energetic with meeting new people and comfortable asking for commitments
  • Resilience and self-direction, treating a no as information
  • Consistent daily discipline and a drive to achieve measurable goals
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Compensation

Base salary: $65,000–$85,000 per year. Target total compensation: $120,000–$140,000+.
