Job Description
Sun Technologies is seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner focused on university relations and recruiting within the Aeronautics sector. This onsite role in Oklahoma City centers on forging strong university partnerships, designing campus recruiting strategies, and building a durable early career talent pipeline that supports engineering disciplines and emerging technologies. You will work closely with hiring managers, university partners, and UR&R teams to align talent strategies with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage strategic relationships with target universities and student organizations aligned to business needs
- Establish and maintain long-term university partnerships with faculty, career services, and student organizations
- Develop and execute campus recruiting strategies to sustain a sustainable early career pipeline in engineering and emerging technologies
- Maintain a keep warm strategy for candidates across academic cycles
- Screen, assess, and present qualified early career candidates aligned to defined hiring profiles
- Partner with hiring managers to refine candidate criteria and selection strategies
- Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers on early career talent market trends and campus strategy
- Lead planning and execution of campus events, networking sessions, and student engagement initiatives
- Promote company culture, values, and mission alignment to strengthen brand presence
- Ensure a seamless, high quality candidate experience through effective communication and process transparency
- Use data insights to inform campus strategy aligned to business sustainability and affordability posture
- Ensure adherence to recruiting policies, university guidelines, and compliance requirements
- Manage full life cycle recruitment for regional and site-specific early career and intern requisitions
- Collaborate with Enterprise and Sector UR&R teams to participate in university partnerships
- Update candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure data integrity
- Develop and analyze UR&R metrics
- Develop and implement process improvements that drive operating excellence
- Demonstrate exposure to the college recruiting space and consult with students, university partners, hiring managers, and leadership
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting or University Relations, OR Bachelor’s Degree with 0 years of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Travel required up to 25%
- Must be based in Oklahoma City, OK or within a reasonable commuting distance

Compensation
Pay range: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour. The pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
Travel
Up to 25% travel required.
Experience (Preferred)
- Talent Acquisition Recruiting: 1 year (Preferred)
- University Relations: 1 year (Preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ownership of full-cycle recruiting through offer acceptance
- Proficiency in Workday and Eightfold
- Previous TA experience in a corporate recruiting environment
- TA experience within the internship and early career arena
