Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Partner at Clearway Energy operates from Scottsdale, AZ with hybrid work arrangements and supports hiring for technical and field roles across multiple locations, including San Diego, Scottsdale, and Denver.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance to the business as a subject matter expert on recruitment strategy
- Direct sourcing and pipeline management for assigned client base to meet current and future hiring needs
- Steer timely progression, stakeholder communication, and process accountability throughout the hiring lifecycle
- Design recruitment strategies using diverse sourcing techniques, with emphasis on a diverse candidate pool
- Conduct candidate interviews and extend job offers
- Promote Clearway as an employer of choice through social media and recruitment branding
- Apply behavioral interviewing techniques, screen candidates, and provide recommendations on applicant consideration and selection
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with hiring managers and coach them on hiring best practices
- Deliver a stellar candidate experience and cultivate strong candidate relationships
- Attend networking events, professional conferences, and niche recruiting events to source talent
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to improve talent brand, processes, and candidate experience by identifying efficiencies and reducing bottlenecks
- Develop deep knowledge of business lines and their competitive landscape
- Adhere to Talent Acquisition Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Stay informed about current marketplace trends to ensure competitive hiring practices
- Ensure accurate reporting, candidate documentation, pipeline tracking, and data integrity within talent acquisition systems
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or related experience
- 3+ years of recruiting experience in a consultative role (corporate or agency) in a related industry
- Strong sourcing capabilities, including advanced Boolean searches and proactive talent mapping
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment processes
- Positive attitude, highly motivated, and committed to a teamwork, respect, and integrity driven culture
- Professional and approachable demeanor with the ability to interface effectively at all organizational levels
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, capable of establishing trust, setting expectations, and driving alignment and accountability
- Passion for innovative recruitment solutions, strong customer service, and process improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a bias for action and delivering results
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality while exercising sound judgment and integrity
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

What the Role Is
The Talent Acquisition Partner handles all aspects of talent sourcing and recruiting for assigned requisitions, building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers, Human Resources, community organizations, and other recruiting sources. The role develops new, creative recruiting ideas using traditional and non-traditional sourcing strategies and leverages approved venues to identify and recruit suitable candidates. This role focuses on technical and field positions and reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager. It is based in San Diego, Scottsdale, or Denver, and the posting represents a single opening across multiple locations. What Would Be Nice
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business, Marketing, or a related field is highly preferred
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in renewables
- Experience in technical recruiting across energy, engineering, and military sectors
- Experience partnering with senior-level leaders on strategic talent acquisition and retention
- Experience screening, interviewing, and assessing talent
- Experience with Greenhouse applicant tracking system
- Expert use of LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing technologies
- Previous experience conducting data analysis and metric reporting
