Job Description
Based in St. Louis, Missouri with a hybrid work arrangement, the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner role at Post Holdings Inc. centers on leading end-to-end recruitment across Finance, Legal, HR, and IT. This position serves as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders, partnering with Talent Acquisition teams to optimize processes and technology while delivering a smooth, professional candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain candidate relationships through transparent communication and regular engagement
- Assess staffing needs, identify talent gaps, and tailor recruitment strategies to address them
- Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to shape outcomes and ensure a superior hiring experience
- Own full-cycle recruitment for assigned requisitions, elevating complex issues when necessary
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines through diverse sourcing, including direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and market intelligence
- Ensure precise, up-to-date candidate data in the applicant tracking system
- Apply market and functional insight to attract both active and passive high-quality candidates
- Own the offer process, including compensation negotiations and delivery of offers
- Collaborate with the HR Supervisor to complete pre-employment checks and onboarding activities on schedule
- Provide market insights and recruiting metrics to guide hiring strategies
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with internal policies and applicable laws
- Develop and maintain external talent networks, including relationships with agencies and professional organizations
- Work with business leaders to understand hiring needs and meet staffing goals
- Advise on effective recruiting strategies, covering sourcing, interview processes, and candidate assessment
- Provide interviewers and hiring leaders with tools and guidance to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluations
- Set and manage expectations on timelines, market conditions, and compensation
- Translate workforce plans into proactive hiring strategies and pipelines
- Utilize market insights and trends to inform hiring decisions and address talent challenges
- Influence hiring outcomes, including at senior levels, with data-driven recommendations and structured assessments
- Guide candidates through the hiring process with clear communication and engagement
- Provide a consistent, positive candidate experience through timely, professional interactions
- Collect and evaluate candidate feedback to improve the experience
- Develop and use standardized communication templates across the recruiting lifecycle
- Drive continuous improvement of recruiting tools, processes, and practices to boost efficiency
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to design and optimize end-to-end hiring processes
- Lead and contribute to talent acquisition processes and initiatives
- Act as the primary liaison to Business Unit Talent Acquisition teams, sharing updates and addressing recruiting challenges
- Support the adoption of changes in systems, processes, and policies across stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 to 7 years of talent acquisition experience, including full-cycle recruiting
- Proven track record hiring top talent in competitive markets and building external networks
- Experience recruiting within a corporate environment, managing diverse and complex roles
- Strong business acumen with the ability to advise on and influence hiring decisions
- Demonstrates strategic thinking, sound judgment and professional presence
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
- Expertise in candidate assessment, interviewing and selection practices
- Experience with innovative sourcing methodologies and active talent market engagement
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills with candidates
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Proficient with ATS (iCIMS preferred), CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, and MS Office
