Recruiting Specialist

EngageUSA is hiring onsite in Frederick, Maryland for a Recruiting Specialist. This role offers an hourly wage of $20 - $25 and a meaningful opportunity to shape talent acquisition across multiple functions. Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment for multiple functions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Execute HR sourcing activities such as cold outreach, relationship management, and lead generation to build a robust talent pool for current and future openings.
• Negotiate job offers and ensure compliance with employment laws to provide fair, competitive packages aligned with organizational standards.
• Coordinate new hire orientation and assist with onboarding and evaluation processes to support smooth integration into the company culture.
• Support internal recruiting efforts through succession planning, talent management, and employee relations activities to foster a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in recruiting or HR with a focus on talent acquisition across diverse roles.
• Familiarity with employment and labor law regulations to ensure compliance during all stages of the hiring process.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate offers and build lasting relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Experience conducting interviews using structured techniques for various roles; adept at assessing skills related to social media management, cold calling, research methods, and relationship management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
