Recruiting HR Partner
Job Description
At the University of South Florida's Tampa campus, the Recruiting HR Partner plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive recruitment solutions on site. This role partners with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs and build high-quality talent pipelines that support both exempt and non-exempt roles across the campus. The position combines strategic collaboration with hands-on sourcing to sustain a strong, diverse candidate pool.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for the Tampa campus, leveraging creative and cost-effective sourcing methods to fill exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Proactively collaborate with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs.
- Assess position requirements and candidate qualifications to ensure alignment and provide insightful candidate assessments.
- Interview applicants to evaluate work history, education, training, and job skills.
- Develop and maintain internal and external networks to ensure a strong pipeline of candidates.
- Use innovative sourcing and branding techniques to engage active and passive candidates using tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Glassdoor.
- Represent the campus at local job fairs.
- Track, monitor, and report ongoing recruiting activities through Oracle to ensure data integrity for metrics and reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and two years of HR related experience, or a Master's degree in a field relevant to the program.
- Six years of HR-related experience or a combination of education and experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree.
- Bachelor's degree with at least five years of high-volume recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Oracle.
- Significant experience using the full recruiting capabilities of LinkedIn and other recruiting tools.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
