Job Description

The Recruiting Business Partner is an onsite role based in Seattle, WA, with a compensation range of USD 64,800 to 126,100 per year. The role collaborates with Sourcers and hiring managers to attract talent, manage searches, and close positions while shaping talent-attraction strategies and driving benchmarks and SLAs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring teams to design robust sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches, while managing stakeholder expectations through a solid understanding of return on investment.
  • Ability to recruit passive candidates and assess fit by profiling individuals and gauging motivation, rather than simply promoting a role.
  • Lead and negotiate complex offers in competitive markets to secure top talent.
  • Propose recruitment ideas and strategies that support long-term company growth, implement new processes, and refine standard recruiting practices aligned with Amazon's mission to deliver high-quality results to customers.
  • Document a plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking system.
  • Conduct candidate interviews within the position specification framework; screen, interview, and assemble a candidate slate within a consistent timeline.
  • Engage in special projects and recruiting initiatives, evaluating interviewing best practices, leveraging internal talent pools, and identifying top performers for senior roles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a pipeline of both internal and external candidates.
  • Enhance the candidate experience by guiding client teams to follow best practices, including compliant job descriptions, compelling messaging, and clear value propositions, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical recruiting in high-volume environments with strong hiring standards.
  • Experience building candidate sourcing and closing strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical recruiting in high-volume, high-hiring-bar settings.
  • Experience developing candidate sourcing and closing strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships.
  • Experience creating, measuring, and scaling workflows among candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
