Recruiter

As a Recruiter at Baxter, you will drive recruiting outcomes across the full Talent Acquisition lifecycle while partnering with business leaders and HR stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own recruiting activity through to successful hire, with emphasis on direct talent identification and sourcing
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers to develop impactful advertising strategies and improve engagement across social media
• Conduct talent identification, headhunting, and proactive referral solicitation
• Provide relevant market intelligence and recruiting insights to Hiring Managers and HR as a trusted advisor
• Shape an engaging candidate experience by understanding talent motivators and adapting your approach across different situations
• Challenge and influence stakeholders to support effective screening, slate presentation, interviewing, and hiring decisions
• Represent Baxter’s total compensation philosophy during offer negotiations
• Coach candidates for selection stages and deliver timely feedback in alignment with local legislation and recruitment standard methodologies
• Lead and update requisitions through completion, ensuring real-time system updates
• Identify and raise risk or compliance issues
• Partner with the business to understand critical and repeatable roles and advise on talent pipelining strategy
• Continuously maintain and improve knowledge of Baxter to strengthen business understanding
• Assess and analyze recruitment activity to support discussions on volumes, performance, and forecasting
• Participate in continuous improvement projects

Requirements

• High school diploma (HS) or GED
• 1+ years of experience in an agency or corporate recruiting or HR role
• Familiarity with end-to-end recruitment process and ability to run a recruitment strategy meeting
• Experience partnering with the business to create efficient and effective recruitment strategies for sourcing, pipelining, and requisition development
• Introductory knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, including support for data accuracy, proper candidate stage tracking, and timely communication
• Confidence in sourcing across multiple searches and supporting several hiring managers simultaneously
• Understanding of the importance of a positive candidate experience, including timely updates, transparent feedback, and consistent process
• Willingness to learn and promote Baxter brand through employer brand initiatives and ambassador activities across social media and other channels
• Basic knowledge of compensation structure and philosophy (benefits, bonuses, etc.) to communicate packages to stakeholders and candidates
