Recruiter

Moynihan Companies is hiring a full-time, on-site Recruiter in Lafayette, NJ. This role supports a landscaping and construction operation by sourcing, screening, and hiring across labor, CDL driver, seasonal snow removal, and office and managerial positions through a multi-channel recruiting approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and hire landscaping and construction laborers.
• Source, recruit, and hire CDL driver candidates.
• Source, recruit, and hire seasonal snow removal workers (part-time).
• Source, recruit, and hire office and administrative staff.
• Source, recruit, and hire managerial and supervisory roles.
• Support additional hiring needs as business requirements change.
• Use a multi-channel approach that includes job boards such as Indeed.
• Conduct field recruiting by visiting job sites, neighborhoods, community locations, and local hangouts.
• Perform direct outbound outreach through calls, texts, and in-person conversations.
• Build referral networks and relationships with employees, local organizations, churches, and trade programs.
• Participate in job fairs, community events, and targeted hiring events.
• Use other creative sourcing methods as appropriate.
• Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and partner with hiring managers across the full recruiting cycle.
• Build and maintain active pipelines for ongoing and seasonal hiring needs.
• Refine recruiting processes and contribute ideas as recruiting capabilities expand, including a planned external recruiting service.

Required Qualifications

• Experience recruiting using multiple methods, not solely inbound job board applications.
• Comfort with field recruiting, direct outreach, and spending regular time in the community.
• Experience hiring for construction, landscaping, trades, CDL/drivers, blue-collar, or seasonal roles is a strong plus.
• Resourceful, proactive approach with willingness to combine traditional and non-traditional recruiting methods.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organized approach to manage multiple roles and recruiting pipelines.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Lafayette, NJ, with regular time spent in the field.

Compensation and Work Location

Salary: USD 63,200 to 76,200 per year.

Location: Lafayette, NJ (on-site, full-time). Work is conducted in person.
