- Recruit as business needs require, including opportunities across areas such as newsroom and on-air talent, engineering and technology.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to shape recruiting strategies, define candidate profiles, and align on short-term and long-term talent requirements.
- Source both passive and active candidates using networking, social media platforms, employee referrals, industry associations, job boards, and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for sales and other functional areas.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to evaluate skills, experience, and organizational fit.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews to keep the process efficient and candidate-friendly.
- Manage offers from start to finish, including understanding candidate motivations, addressing concerns early, and supporting closing efforts when candidates have competing offers or counteroffers.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records in the Applicant Tracking System (Workday).
- Promote Graham Media Group as an employer through social media, industry events, networking opportunities, and recruitment marketing initiatives.
- Represent the organization at career and media industry events that support talent connections.
- Build relationships with universities, journalism and broadcast programs, professional organizations, and sales and media talent communities.
- In collaboration with HR leadership and creative teams, support development of recruitment content.
- Serve as a trusted resource to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Share market feedback and make recommendations on hiring requirements, compensation, and interview steps when a search needs to reset.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline status, progress, and hiring timelines, and flag trends or concerns early.
What you bring
- Minimum 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including at least 2 years recruiting for sales or other quota-carrying roles.
- Strong proficiency with Workday Recruiting (or comparable ATS), sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, and scheduling or assessment platforms.
- Knowledge of modern sourcing methods and recruitment technologies.
- Exceptional interviewing, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- A problem-solving mindset focused on improving, innovating, and excelling.
