Job Description

Interim HealthCare of East Tennessee is seeking a dual Recruiter to manage full life cycle recruitment for healthcare professionals in Morristown, TN.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic recruitment plans using creative, cost effective methods.
  • Design and implement targeted recruitment strategies; help establish best practice approaches and adjust as needed.
  • Lead candidate relationship management to enhance the candidate experience, improve retention, and encourage referrals.
  • Create engaging recruitment marketing, from job descriptions to live events and campaigns that attract candidates to the company.
  • Coordinate recruitment advertising, including creating and posting openings and leveraging online recruiting tools.
  • Participate in recruiting activities such as job fairs, community events, conventions, and more.
  • Deliver presentations to schools, including nursing and CNA training programs.
  • Build and maintain networks to identify qualified passive candidates.
  • Demonstrate a track record of using multiple channels to develop and maintain a candidate database and pipeline for future needs.
  • Recommend and execute recruitment and retention activities, including open houses and employee recognition events.
  • Coordinate the application process, including phone and internet responses, scheduling, and interviews.
  • Work with hiring teams to conduct phone screens and coordinate on site interview logistics.
  • Provide weekly and monthly recruitment reports to Leadership.
  • Track and analyze recruitment success, costs, time to hire, and related metrics.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with candidates via phone, email, and social media.
  • Assist in maintaining spreadsheets for candidate and project tracking.
  • Continuously develop and master sourcing and recruitment techniques and tools.
  • Grow a database of qualified candidates through networking, referrals, cold calling, and internet searches.
  • Meet metrics for contacting prospects and conducting candidate interviews.
  • Conduct employment verifications, reference checks, and assist with background investigations when needed.
  • Verify licensures and credentials for nurses and other healthcare providers.
  • Coordinate the new hire orientation process.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company hiring standards.
  • Complete other assignments as requested and assigned.
  • May have access to personal health information (PHI) as needed, with access, use, and disclosure defined by the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of two years of full cycle recruiting experience in an agency or corporate environment.
  • One year of high-volume healthcare related recruitment experience to include RNs and CNAs (a plus but not mandatory).
  • Keen assessment skills to evaluate professional qualifications, work experience, and personal characteristics.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, flexibility, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven networking capabilities and creativity in sourcing candidates.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain trust-based relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high interruption environment, meet multiple deadlines, and manage changing priorities with strong attention to detail.
  • Adept at handling multiple high-volume hiring campaigns.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills and exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of hiring laws, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Strong work ethic with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication with all levels of management.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • PC proficiency to include MS Office, MS Excel, Outlook, and Internet use.
