Role overview

In this position, you will source, screen, interview, and hire qualified drivers, craft recruiting strategies tailored to the trucking industry, support onboarding, and maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system to sustain effective hiring processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute recruiting strategies to attract top trucking talent
• Source and screen candidates through job postings, referrals, and networking events
• Conduct in-person and phone interviews with prospective drivers
• Assess qualifications, experience, and alignment with Trius Trucking's culture
• Keep recruiting activity records current in the applicant tracking system
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
• Represent the company at job fairs and industry events as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience required, preferably in trucking or transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to the trucking industry
