Human Resources – Sr Recruiting Coordinator
Job Description
This contract recruiting role supports university hiring and the full recruitment lifecycle in a hybrid Columbus, OH setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and ensure hiring teams have all candidate information and materials.
- Arrange candidate travel, process expense reimbursements, and manage onsite logistics.
- Register for recruiting events, prepare career fair materials, and coordinate shipment of event supplies.
- Maintain job postings on external diversity and university recruiting boards.
- Facilitate onboarding activities in Workday, including background checks and I-9 processing.
- Support and mentor teammates on recruiting processes and best practices as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams on process improvements, research initiatives, and special projects.
- Administer confidential background screening and licensing processes.
- Process, review, track, and approve departmental invoices.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, associate degree, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 1–3 years of recruiting, human resources, administrative support, or related experience.
- Experience managing calendars, scheduling interviews, or supporting multiple stakeholders is preferred.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems such as Workday, Fieldglass, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Basic understanding of recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
