Job Description
Located onsite in Fairburn, GA, this frontline recruiting role oversees all hourly hiring within a targeted region. The position covers sourcing, reviewing, screening, scheduling, hiring, and orientation, and also contributes to hourly recruiting strategy, marketing, vendor management, process design, change management, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders and HR site partners to define hourly hiring needs, keep stakeholders updated, and align actions with key objectives.
- Maintain candidate records accurately in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Oversee job postings for assigned locations, monitor status through the hiring process, close vacancies, and ensure files are complete.
- Assess submitted applications and resumes for job fit and compliance with pre-hire driver screening.
- Conduct prescreens (phone or in-person) with qualified candidates.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers at respective sites.
- Build and maintain networks to stay informed about competitive hiring practices.
- Provide coaching and training support to hiring managers.
- Generate standard reports, projections, and data on hourly recruiting topics.
- Evaluate recruiting productivity, identify challenges, and develop and implement improvement plans.
- Define marketing and sourcing strategies to meet hourly recruitment demand.
- Participate in special projects within the Hourly Recruiting structure, including startup activities, campus and remote hiring events, networking activities, and marketing.
- Deliver subject matter expertise for Hourly Regional Recruiting projects across the organization.
- Represent DHL at job fairs and community networking opportunities.
- Verify employment qualifications, pre-hire screenings, background checks, and drug screens.
- Draft offer letters and initiate pre-hire paperwork in the system.
Requirements
- Associates degree in business or human resources or 3+ years of human resources experience (preferred).
- Bachelors degree in business or human resources or related field (preferred).
- 1+ years general HR experience (preferred).
- 1+ years high volume recruiting (preferred).
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or similar HR software (preferred).
