The Early Career Talent Acquisition Partner (University Recruiting) is an onsite role based in Irvine, CA. The position offers a salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year and focuses on designing, executing, and refining programs to attract, develop, and retain early career talent, including internships, university partnerships, and entry-level hiring. It also supports career development initiatives for interns and new graduates.

Overview

This role designs, implements, and continually enhances programs aimed at attracting and developing early career talent. Key elements include managing internship initiatives, cultivating university partnerships, coordinating new graduate hiring, and supporting structured career development for entry-level employees.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and sustain partnerships with colleges, universities, and career centers to promote TP-Link Systems and its career opportunities.
  • Plan and execute campus recruiting activities, including career fairs, information sessions, networking events, and on-campus interviews.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring needs for interns and entry-level roles.
  • Develop and manage the internship program to deliver a structured, high-impact experience.
  • Oversee onboarding of interns and new graduates to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
  • Coordinate training, mentorship, and networking events for interns and early career employees.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with target universities, student organizations, and faculty.
  • Create marketing materials and campaigns tailored to early talent audiences.
  • Represent TP-Link Systems at recruiting events, diversity conferences, and university engagements.
  • Work with the Learning and Development team to design development tracks for early career employees, emphasizing professional skills, technical knowledge, and leadership potential.
  • Track learning outcomes and engagement to drive continuous program improvement.
  • Support rotational and onboarding programs that place new graduates into various teams.
  • Gather feedback from interns, hiring managers, and new graduates to assess program effectiveness.
  • Maintain metrics and reporting on program performance, conversion rates, and retention.
  • Recommend improvements based on industry best practices and internal data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience building and driving college recruiting partnerships within technology and business programs at colleges and universities.
  • Proven track record designing and facilitating university engagement programs.
  • Experience partnering with and presenting strategy to leadership teams.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems such as Workday Learning, TalentLMS, SuccessFactors, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
