Caregiver Recruiter

Covenant Caregivers, LLC is hiring a Caregiver Recruiter to support caregiver staffing in Madison, MS. In this onsite role, you will help move caregiver candidates through the recruiting process, from the first conversation to their start date, while partnering closely with care operations to understand current staffing needs.

You will also be responsible for keeping applicants informed and ensuring qualified candidates progress efficiently. The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with an expected 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage caregiver candidates through job boards, referrals, community relationships, and recruiting events.
• Review applications, conduct phone screens and interviews, and evaluate each candidate’s experience and fit.
• Coordinate background checks, references, hiring paperwork, and orientation.
• Provide timely updates to candidates and help qualified applicants move through the process promptly.
• Track recruiting activity and collaborate with the team to address ongoing staffing needs.

Requirements

• Experience in recruiting, hiring, human resources, or another people-focused role.
• Strong communication skills and reliable follow-through.
• Good judgment when assessing candidates.
• Ability to manage multiple openings and shifting priorities.
• A sincere respect for caregivers and the clients they serve.
• Experience recruiting caregivers or other healthcare staff is helpful, and strong recruiting skills with a willingness to learn home care are also welcome.

• Work location: In person
• Schedule: Mon to Fri, 8a to 5p
• Expected hours: 40.0 per week
• Pay: From $18.00 per hour
