Job Description
Keith D. Weiner & Associates Co., LPA offers a full-time remote role based in Lexington, KY with a competitive salary of $80,000 per year. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of bankruptcy experience, preferably on the creditor side, and involves collaborating with a paralegal team to handle a high volume of filings while appearing in Bankruptcy Courts as needed.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Motions for Relief, Proofs of Claim, Objections to Confirmation, Reaffirmation Agreements, Adversary Proceedings, and other pleadings.
- Manage creditor bankruptcy matters from referral through resolution
- Collaborate with paralegals and internal teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Attend hearings in Bankruptcy Courts in the Eastern District of Kentucky, with some coverage possible in the Western District of Kentucky. Coverage of Bankruptcy Matters in the Southern District of West Virginia is a plus and preferred.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including FDCPA and CFPB guidelines.
- Maintain strong communication with clients regarding case status and strategy.
- Assist with creditors’ rights collection matters, including replevins, during fluctuations in bankruptcy volume in Kentucky and preferably West Virginia if licensed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of bankruptcy experience (creditor-side preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the FDCPA and CFPB regulations
- Licensed to practice in Kentucky (state and federal courts required)
- Dual licensure in Kentucky and West Virginia preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
