Agent Recruiting & Onboarding Support Specialist
Job Description
The Franklin Team is seeking an Agent Recruiting & Onboarding Support Specialist to manage full-cycle recruiting and support newly onboarded real estate agents in Houston. This role runs through agents’ first 30 days, combining proactive candidate engagement with structured onboarding and training support.

Compensation
- $80,000 to $100,000 per year
Role Responsibilities
- Follow up on all inbound applications and inquiries (Indeed, team email, social media, and phone) within 24 hours.
- Own full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, qualifying, and closing new agents through to signing.
- Conduct outbound prospecting via calls, texts, and DMs to build a consistent candidate pipeline.
- Use FUB and Broker Metrics to identify good-fit agents.
- Run 1 recruiting webinar or info session weekly.
- Complete 1 in-person prospecting meeting weekly, plus prospecting lunches as scheduled.
- Maintain relationships with co-op agents by calling each agent on the weekly co-op list within 1 week of the closing report to thank them, invite them to events or CE classes, offer lunch invitations, and gauge satisfaction with their current brokerage.
- Create and send bi-weekly email campaigns with calls to action to register for an informational session, class, or event, including testimonials and agent videos where available.
- Sponsor and/or attend Champions School of Real Estate classes (minimum 2 per month) to promote informational sessions.
- Attend networking events where realtors are present, including builder events and HAR events (minimum 2 per month).
- Produce and post 3 recruiting-focused social media posts weekly.
- Conduct 1:1 discovery and qualifying conversations with prospective agents.
- Lead onboarding orientation for each new cohort (every 6 weeks).
- Serve as backup support to the Director of Agent Success for agent check-ins during each agent’s first 30 days.
- Conduct weekly check-in calls or lunches with each onboarding agent through their first 30 days.
- Troubleshoot systems and tool questions as agents ramp into team processes.
- Flag early disengagement signals to the Director of Agent Success before they become retention risks.
- Ensure all agents, regardless of experience level, complete required Foundations training.
- Maintain recruiting pipeline and cohort tracking data, and coordinate cohort logistics and scheduling.
- Partner with the Director of Agent Success to keep recruiting messaging aligned with Foundations program content.
- Call every Indeed applicant within 1 week of applying to invite them to an informational session if they are not already registered via the automated email campaign.
Required Qualifications
- Active real estate license required (preferred).
- Prior experience as a practicing real estate agent, able to speak firsthand about production, transactions, and day-to-day agent life.
- DISC profile: high D/I preferred, with outbound orientation, persuasive communication, resilience to rejection, and energy aligned to activity-based goals.
- Comfort with scheduling that includes regular evening and weekend commitments in addition to standard business hours.
