Retail Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
Atlantic Water Products is expanding its footprint in retail recruiting across multiple store locations in New Jersey. This onsite role in Piscataway partners with store leadership to source, screen, and hire qualified candidates, ensuring full staffing and a positive candidate experience in a fast-paced environment. Compensation ranges from USD 45,000 to 65,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for retail store roles
- Source candidates via job boards, social networks, networking, referrals, and community outreach
- Screen resumes and conduct phone and virtual interviews
- Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified applicants
- Represent the company at local hiring events, job fairs, and community recruiting initiatives
- Track recruiting metrics and provide weekly hiring updates
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process
- Assist with onboarding and new hire coordination
- Build strong relationships with store managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities
Requirements
- 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience
- Experience recruiting for retail, customer service, sales, or high-volume positions preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
