Recruiting Coordinator
Job Description
Select HIRE Services is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator to support end-to-end recruiting operations in Melrose Park, IL. This onsite role coordinates candidates and hiring managers from sourcing and screening through onboarding, helping teams fill diverse roles across departments.
The ideal candidate brings full cycle recruiting experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with employment and labor law compliance. The position also supports HR sourcing initiatives through talent pipeline management for high-volume campaigns and succession planning.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and manage full cycle recruiting, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Use talent management software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to support recruiting workflows.
- Conduct research and leverage social media marketing strategies to generate candidate leads and strengthen employer branding.
- Participate in external recruiting activities such as campus recruitment, job fairs, and cold calling to attract diverse talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, negotiate offers, and help facilitate employment and labor law compliance during hiring.
- Maintain relationships with candidates, hiring teams, and external agencies to support a positive candidate experience and successful placements.
- Support HR sourcing initiatives by maintaining talent pipelines for high-volume recruitment campaigns and succession planning efforts.
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting or human resources with familiarity in full cycle recruiting, technical recruiting, or executive recruiting.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills for engaging candidates and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of HR legal compliance and employment law in talent management, including employment and labor law requirements.
- Preferred proficiency with talent management software such as UltiPro or Kenexa BrassRing (or similar HR systems).
- Ability to handle high-volume recruitment projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Advantageous experience with social media marketing (recruitment), employee orientation, employee evaluation, employee relations, and training and development.
- Ability to research market trends and generate leads through cold calling or other lead generation techniques.
