Compensation
Starting wage: $30.50 per hour. Wage range: $30.50 to $36.10 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR leadership to assess staffing needs
- Manage full cycle recruitment: post vacancies, source candidates, screen applications
- Conduct interviews by phone, via virtual platforms, or in person
- Administer candidate assessments and complete reference and background checks
- Present offers and explain benefits, compensation, and agency agreements
- Coordinate DSP hiring workflows with HR Coordinators and Compliance Managers
- Coordinate hiring workflows for administrative and non-DSP roles with relevant managers
- Oversee internal promotions and transfers in coordination with HR leadership
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Provide training to hiring managers on ATS usage and procedures
- Collect and track hiring metrics to support planning and reporting
- Represent the agency as a brand ambassador at career fairs, events, and community meetings
- Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and workforce groups to identify recruitment sources
- Participate in task forces, committees, and professional organizations to promote the agency and stay informed on trends
- Identify barriers to recruitment and retention; work with program staff to develop strategies
- Administer surveys to assess vacancy rates, service needs, and training requirements
- Facilitate training sessions, roundtables, and webinars on workforce and recruitment concerns
- Assist the HR Director in developing succession plans and career pathways for staff
- Ensure all hiring practices comply with federal and state employment laws
- Attend mandatory staff meetings, trainings, and seminars; complete annual trainings including First Aid, CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Mandated Reporter status
- Operate a personal or agency vehicle for business use; maintain a valid WA driver license, vehicle registration, and insurance; provide a driver’s abstract annually or as requested
- Perform other daily duties as assigned
Qualifications and requirements
- Experience with ATS, HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience using Indeed and other recruiting platforms to manage candidate pipelines
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws in recruitment and selection
- Experience executing recruitment procedures including selection, compensation, benefits, and labor relations
- Ability to meet hiring deadlines and quotas
- Strong written and verbal documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to identify process errors or recruitment obstacles and report findings to HR leadership
- Manage personal and team timelines to meet defined hiring goals
- Direct recruitment activities for specific roles and departments
- Willingness to learn and use new software for data storage and collection
- Minimum 2 years of recruiting or workforce planning experience in the supported living field
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Washington State driver’s license, current vehicle insurance, and eligibility for agency automobile insurance
- Background inquiry clearance from an authorized state agency
