Job Description

The Recruiter/Dispatcher will source, screen, and place temporary staff while coordinating client deployments and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to capture temporary staffing needs and timelines.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define and document job duties and hiring criteria.
  • Source candidates via multiple channels including job boards, social networks, networking, and referrals.
  • Review resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
  • Maintain a centralized database of candidates and keep records current.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between clients and candidates.
  • Provide ongoing communication and support to both clients and candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist with onboarding and ensure a smooth transition for placed staff.
  • Schedule and dispatch temporary workers based on client needs and role requirements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and temporary staff, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff assignments, forms, and client orders in the dispatch system.
  • Address staffing-related issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with workers' compensation claims, injury reports, and related paperwork as needed.
  • Support clients with disciplinary actions or performance improvement processes when required.
  • Build and nurture professional relationships with clients to understand their workforce preferences.
  • Ensure all dispatching activities comply with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for phone and email
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to design and implement sourcing strategies for multiple roles
  • Competent with recruitment software, ATS, and job boards
  • Proactive and independent with initiative
  • Good time management with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Flexible hours including weekends as needed
  • Travel to client locations as required

Job Summary

The Recruiter/Dispatcher implements effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for clients and coordinates temporary staff deployments across client locations with clear communication and efficiency.

Shift and Hours

  • Work 8+ hours per day depending on workload
  • Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or later as needed
  • Flexibility for overtime and weekend work when required

Education and Experience

  • Previous experience in dispatching staffing or customer service preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged sitting and computer work
  • Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds
