Job Description

Based in Fort Collins, Mader Group seeks a recruiter to staff blue-collar roles across the United States. The position emphasizes fast-paced recruitment, building strong candidate relationships, and partnering with operations teams and hiring managers on mining, construction, and heavy equipment projects. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end processes and help align talent with project needs across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and hire skilled trades and heavy equipment talent
  • Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews
  • Oversee job postings on Indeed and other platforms
  • Develop proactive talent pipelines rather than relying solely on applicants
  • Collaborate directly with operations teams to address workforce needs
  • Manage candidate communications from first contact through onboarding
  • Coordinate onboarding items such as background checks, medicals, travel, and compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date recruitment systems and candidate records
  • Support hiring campaigns, referrals, and recruitment events
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and accelerate hiring

Requirements

  • Previous recruitment or talent acquisition experience
  • Strong communication skills and solid people instincts
  • Proven ability to manage multiple roles concurrently
  • Comfortable engaging with blue-collar workers, mechanics, and operational teams
  • Organized, proactive, and self-sufficient
  • Experience in mining, construction, industrial, transport, or trades recruitment is a plus
