Job Description
Circle K is seeking a on-site Recruiter in Irving, TX to support centralized recruiting for both store and non-store roles.
Responsibilities
- Promote and guide Store Managers in executing the Centralized Recruiting Process to improve efficiency and results.
- Source candidates through multiple channels, including online job boards, job fairs, and career workshops.
- Conduct virtual interviews via phone or Skype for Assistant Store Managers and Manager-in-Training candidates within a defined region.
- Manage background check intake by updating the applicant database daily and determining next steps for interviewed candidates.
- Notify Market Managers once interviews are completed for store-level manager candidates.
- Coordinate second interviews in collaboration with the Market Manager.
- Organize internal job fairs and career workshops to boost engagement and cultivate talent internally.
- Respond promptly to inquiries related to hiring and recruiting activities.
- Support HR goals by utilizing the ASANA task management system.
- Lead end-to-end recruiting for non-store positions, including phone screening, background checks, reference checks, and drafting offer letters.
- Assist with ordering company tools and facilitating non-store orientation as needed.
- Represent Circle K at local college and university job fairs to support recruitment efforts, as needed.
- Deliver new hire orientation classes when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary over time.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Clear and effective communication, both oral and written, with the ability to read, listen, and convey information clearly.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Capacity to gather, assess, organize, audit, and verify information.
- College background preferred but not mandatory.
- Working conditions include a normal office environment with occasional outdoor exposure when in the field; long hours, weekends, and holidays may occur.
