Job Description

This onsite recruiter role is based in Hastings, MN, supporting high-volume hourly hiring across Hastings and New Brighton for a commercial landscaping and snow removal company. Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking system data and monitor recruitment metrics
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms
  • Post openings on the careers page, social channels, external job boards, and internally
  • Use applicant tracking systems and resume databases effectively
  • Create sourcing messages to engage passive candidates
  • Interview candidates and share evaluation notes with hiring managers
  • Track HR metrics such as time to fill, time to hire, and source of hire
  • Represent the company at job fairs and host internal recruitment events
  • Build relationships with colleges and other community resources
  • Design or update job descriptions as requested
  • Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
  • Lead or participate in new hire orientations
  • Adhere to recruitment process maps and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Extend offers to selected candidates and keep hiring managers updated
  • Coordinate with all branches and regions on hiring practices and needs

Requirements

  • Minimum three years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to identify, create, and implement sourcing strategies
