Recruiter

Granite Bay Care is seeking a full-time Recruiter in Scarborough, ME (onsite) with a salary range of USD 45,000 - 50,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for exempt and nonexempt roles, for internal and external candidates.
• Screen candidates and conduct interviews; partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and extend offers.
• Maintain proactive candidate communication via phone, text, email, and in person.
• Manage pre-hire and post-hire documentation, including background checks and onboarding, and enter I-9s into the HRIS.
• Maintain employee records electronically.
• Coordinate with the training department to support new-hire orientation processes and deliver orientation as needed.
• Develop, update, and maintain job descriptions with guidance from the Human Resources Director.
• Participate in setting department goals and implementing systems to track candidates and metrics.
• Represent Granite Bay Care at recruitment events such as career fairs.
• Provide general HR support to assist with other needs as they arise.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of online and local sourcing techniques.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a safe and reliable automobile.
• Active automobile insurance policy.
• Strong ethical character.
• Proven time management skills that support productivity and efficiency.
• Reliable and dependable with a professional work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with computers and learning new technology; proficient at internet research.
