Job Description

Circle K offers an onsite Recruiter role in Nashville, TN that focuses on centralized recruiting, candidate sourcing, virtual interviews, background checks, and onboarding. This position provides the opportunity to shape internal talent development and onboarding efforts, collaborate with Store Managers and Market Managers, and contribute to HR goals using project management tools. You will engage across multiple recruiting channels, coordinate candidate progress, and help strengthen Circle K’s talent across both store and non-store roles.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the Centralized Recruiting Process by guiding Store Managers on efficient program execution.
  • Source candidates through diverse channels such as online job postings, job fairs, and career workshops.
  • Conduct virtual interviews via phone or Skype within a defined region for Assistant Store Managers and Manager-in-Training candidates.
  • Manage background check receipts by updating the database daily to determine next steps for interviewed candidates.
  • Coordinate with Market Managers on interview completion for store-level manager candidates and facilitate second interviews with the Market Manager.
  • Coordinate internal job fairs and career workshops to boost engagement and cultivate internal talent.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries related to hiring and recruiting.
  • Support HR team goals through the ASANA task management system.
  • Handle end-to-end recruiting for non-store associates, including phone screening, background checks, reference checks, offering letters, assisting with tools orders, and coordinating non-store orientation as needed.
  • Participate in local college and university job fairs to aid recruitment efforts as needed.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary over time.

Requirements

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to gather, assess, organize, audit, and verify information.
  • College background is preferred but not required.
  • Working conditions include a normal office environment with occasional exposure to outdoor elements in the field; long hours, weekends, and holidays may be required.
