Job Description

CoreCivic is hiring a Physician Recruiter to support medical hiring across CCA. This onsite role in Brentwood, TN partners with regional Health Services and Human Resources teams to source qualified candidates, manage recruiting programs, and maintain compliance throughout the selection process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor vacancy rates and implement recruitment strategies designed to reduce vacancy fines and improve fill rates.
  • Partner with the Health Services team to review hiring cycle processes and support consistent application of those processes to satisfy OFCCP requirements.
  • Use creative sourcing approaches to identify qualified candidates for top level medical and dental positions, while maintaining documentation that tracks candidates and sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a database of qualified candidates to support ongoing recruiting needs.
  • Oversee facility applicant flow and address recruitment-related issues to ensure appropriate hiring assessments are used to meet Medical Department hiring goals.
  • Provide resources and collaborate with regional Health Services and facility Human Resources teams to develop and maintain critical community contacts with medical colleges and universities.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws governing selection and hiring for all medical positions.
  • Support recruiting activities with domestic U.S. travel as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Health Services, Business, or a related field is required.
  • A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of recruiting or health services experience, including 2 years of medical recruiting experience, is required.
  • Additional experience may be substituted for required education on a year-for-year basis up to two years.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local licensing and certifications for Physicians is required.
  • Experience using a range of recruiting methods, including internet, direct sourcing, networking/referrals, and other cost effective sources is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Must be extremely organized, attentive to detail, and able to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Travel is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • This role requires 4 days onsite in Brentwood, TN.

Preferred Technologies

  • ATS and HRIS experience is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office is part of the required technology stack.

Role Location and Compensation

Location: Brentwood, TN (onsite).
Salary: USD 72,450 - 86,900 per year.

Bachelor’s degree.
