High Volume Recruiting Sourcer

Build pipelines that move hiring forward. 48forty Solutions is adding a Recruiting Sourcer to the Talent Acquisition (TA) team. This onsite role in Houston, TX supports light industrial and manufacturing recruiting across the country by proactively sourcing active and passive candidates, partnering with TA on recruiting efficiency, and sharing local market intelligence.
In this position, you will help create consistent talent flow for frequently hired roles and hard-to-fill openings, while strengthening relationships with businesses and community organizations that connect you to local talent.
Compensation: USD 60,000 - 65,000 per year. Experience: 2 years minimum. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively source candidates for light industrial and manufacturing openings using job boards, resume databases, social media, professional networks, referrals, and other online resources.
- Run creative, targeted searches to identify both active and passive candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for frequently hired positions and hard-to-fill roles.
- Develop relationships with businesses and employers in small towns and local communities across the country.
- Find and connect with organizations that can expand reach and generate new talent sources.
- Establish ongoing relationships with local employers, community organizations, workforce development groups, schools, trade programs, chambers of commerce, and other community partners.
- Introduce 48forty Solutions and employment opportunities to local businesses and community contacts in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
- Research local labor markets to understand where potential candidates work, live, and seek employment.
- Support TA by sharing market intelligence, including competitor hiring activity, wage trends, candidate availability, and potential sourcing opportunities.
- Partner with TA Specialists and Recruiters to align with current and anticipated hiring needs, develop sourcing plans, and deliver qualified candidate leads.
- Collaborate with recruiters to refine search criteria and sourcing strategies based on candidate response and market conditions.
- Participate in recruiting strategy meetings and provide insights from sourcing and local-market activity.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- 2–3 years of experience in recruiting, candidate sourcing, staffing, business development, or a related field; experience supporting light industrial or manufacturing hiring is preferred.
- Experience using multiple job boards, resume databases, social media platforms, and recruiting systems.
- Strong internet research and information-gathering skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort initiating conversations with candidates, businesses, and community contacts.
- Comfort with outbound calling and proactive relationship development.
- High persistence and resourcefulness, with the ability to find creative solutions when traditional sourcing methods do not work.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfort working independently while maintaining consistent communication with the broader recruiting team.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
