Field Recruiter

This part-time Field Recruiter position supports community-based hiring in Fairfax County, VA by attracting and recruiting School Crossing Guards through in-person outreach, event support, and applicant screening. The role operates onsite from Reston, VA and collaborates closely with the National Recruiting Manager and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and help hire School Crossing Guards across Fairfax County.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, senior centers, local businesses, and other outreach partners.
• Conduct in-person recruiting activities within the community to attract qualified candidates.
• Assist with hiring events, job fairs, outreach campaigns, and other recruiting initiatives.
• Screen and interview applicants for School Crossing Guard positions and other openings as needed.
• Maintain accurate recruiting records and document community outreach activities in company systems.
• Support recruiting efforts across multiple advertising and outreach platforms, including local organizations, online postings, and community partnerships.
• Answer the National Recruiting phone line and respond to applicant inquiries.
• Complete required administrative paperwork and recruiting documentation in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the National Recruiting Manager and Operations teams to support staffing needs across programs.
• Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and operational manuals.

• Friendly, professional, and comfortable engaging with the public.
• Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple recruiting priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Must reside in Fairfax County, VA.
• Previous recruiting, customer service, community outreach, staffing, or sales experience is preferred.

Schedule and Compensation

• Pay: $20.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience
• Job type: Part time
• Schedule: Approximately 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday
