Driver Recruiter
Job Description
The Driver Recruiter role is a on site position based in Brownsburg, Indiana, focused on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and referring qualified candidates to fill driving roles. The role offers a base salary of $42,000 per year, with commissions paid monthly.
Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with potential qualified candidates
- Review applications and conduct telephone interviews to gather work history, education, training, job skills, and to provide information about the organization and the position
- Assist in performing reference and background checks on applicants
- Provide information on company facilities and job opportunities to prospective applicants
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with candidates
- Arrange travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants
Requirements
- 2- or 4-year degree preferably in Transportation or Human Resource or equivalent work experience
- Ability to function in a high-volume fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to all levels of candidates
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including good listening skills
- Possess courteous, yet assertive telephone personality
- Fluent in computer applications and keyboard proficiency
- Previous experience in Driver Recruiting a Plus
