Bilingual Recruiter

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Bilingual Recruiter for an onsite role in the Abilene, TX area to recruit, interview, onboard, and support field employees.

Responsibilities

• Screen, interview, hire, conduct orientations, monitor work performance, and manage placement of field employees using the company ATS system (training provided)
• Use multiple social media platforms, job boards, and recruiting tools to source candidates and schedule appointments/interviews
• Partner with the Branch Manager to set and complete weekly goals
• Complete new hire paperwork for field employees
• Build and maintain relationships with branch clients
• Participate in an on-call rotation
• Answer phones while performing computer work simultaneously
• Provide customer service with daily contact in person and by phone with branch general managers who accept employees being sent to work
• Maintain regular and reliable communications using phone and on-site contact
• Handle record-keeping related to recruiting and placement activities

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
• Strong personal-computer knowledge and ability to use essential programs (including MS Word + Excel, email, etc.) effectively and efficiently
• Social media recruiting experience
• Excellent communication skills (phone and in person)
• Ability to prioritize urgent tasks as needed
• Self-motivated with the ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships
• Good phone and instant message etiquette
• Reliable transportation required
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check
• Regular and reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this position
• Preferred: prior knowledge of scheduling and planning
• Preferred: prior knowledge of email and calendar use
• Preferred: prior use of Microsoft Teams
• Preferred: HR coaching experience

Pay

• $19 per hour
• Monthly bonus (1% OI)
