What you will be doing

In this role, you will recruit, interview, and recommend applicants for agency positions across Shelter’s operating territory. You will also complete other duties as requested by the Recruiting Manager.

• Recruit, interview, and recommend applicants for agency positions across Shelter’s operating territory
• Perform other duties at the request of the Recruiting Manager
• Order a Credit Bureau Report, Motor Vehicle Report, and Criminal Background Check on final candidates

Requirements

• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and goal oriented
• Aptitude to gain thorough knowledge of company products, policies, and philosophy
• Capacity to travel overnight frequently, can be 50% overnight travel or more
• Ability to develop contacts and learn the local area/community in person on assigned vacancy
• Capability to obtain P & C and Life & Health licensing and maintain current industry knowledge through industry courses (company paid)
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation
