In Armada, Michigan, The Pond Guy is seeking a Hybrid Corporate Recruiter to own the complete hiring cycle across 14 departments. This role partners with organizational leaders and the Talent Acquisition team to shape hiring strategies and deliver effective, timely hires in a manufacturing and consumer pond-care environment. It blends strategic workforce planning with hands-on candidate engagement to support the company’s growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting across multiple business functions, guiding searches from intake through offer and acceptance.
- Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and leadership, shaping hiring decisions and recruiting approaches.
- Develop proactive talent pipelines via sourcing, networking, referrals, market research, and outbound outreach.
- Conduct screening conversations and guide evaluation throughout the interview process.
- Foster a positive, professional candidate experience at every stage.
- Leverage recruiting metrics, hiring trends, and market insights to continuously enhance strategies and outcomes.
- Maintain compliant recruiting workflows and ATS documentation to support consistent hiring results.
- Assist with offer negotiations and ensure alignment between candidate expectations and business needs.
- Coach hiring managers on interviewing best practices, candidate evaluation, and structured hiring processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred.
- Experience sourcing for professional and hard-to-fill roles, including proactive engagement of passive candidates through networking and creative recruiting strategies.
- Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills with the ability to challenge assumptions and guide decisions.
- Experience using ATS and recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter.
- Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Availability

You should be available 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings or Saturdays for interviews or recruiting events. The position includes physical requirements such as desk work and potential lifting of 25-35 pounds during training and collaboration with other departments.
