Job Description
Memorial Healthcare System is hiring a Talent Acquisition Recruiting Coordinator to support Talent Acquisition and HR Shared Services in Miramar, Florida. In this onsite role, you will help keep the hiring process compliant and organized, while guiding candidates through pre-employment clearance and a concierge-style pre-boarding experience that supports the Memorial Experience.
Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Recruiting Coordinator supports hiring activities end to end by helping validate required credential and education information, coordinating pre-employment clearance, managing background check processes, and facilitating concierge pre-boarding from offer acceptance through new hire orientation. The position also contributes to HR Shared Services initiatives and goals through efficient coordination of multiple tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure validation of verifications of required credentials and education for internal transfers.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects in support of HR Shared Services initiatives and goals.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and oversee the pre-employment clearance process to ensure minimum hiring requirements are met.
- Adjudicate complex background check requirements, conduct reference calls with employers, and complete and validate required credential and education verifications.
- Facilitate concierge service during the pre-boarding experience from offer acceptance to new hire orientation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required). May substitute 5 years progressive, recent HR experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Three (3) years of experience in Human Resources, Shared Services, or in a high volume, fast paced customer service environment with high attention to detail.
- Competency in the Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Demonstrate accountability, customer service, relationship building, workload management, organization skills, recruitment support, responsiveness to change, and standards of behavior.
Skills and Work Complexity
This role requires critical thinking, effective written and verbal communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external clients. The position also involves independent work and effective coordination across multiple hiring-related tasks. Microsoft Office suite capability is required, including work that involves keyboard entry and computer monitoring.
