Job Description

Alorica is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter based in Miami Lakes, FL to support high-volume external hiring. Reporting to the Manager Talent Acquisition, this role partners with line and site operations leaders to source, screen, and coordinate the full recruiting process while maintaining legal compliance and efficient candidate tracking.

Role Overview

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter partners with managers to develop recruiting approaches and procedures that meet business requirements. The position oversees candidate identification, interviewing and selection activities, pre-employment requirements, offer drafting with sign-off, and placement of external hires for employment. This recruiter also aligns recruiting strategy and processes with the company talent strategy and desired employee capabilities and skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with line managers to build external high-volume recruiting methods and procedures aligned to business needs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end external candidate process, including identification, interviewing, selection, and placement.
  • Ensure recruiting strategy, methodology, and processes align with talent strategy and the required employee skills.
  • Contribute to the design and placement of employment advertising, as needed.
  • Manage relationships with outside employment agencies and external recruiters.
  • Maintain recruiting compliance with all applicable legal requirements.
  • Partner with corporate and site operations to ensure recruiting needs and recruiting strategy remain aligned.
  • Collect and confirm search requests with clear details on responsibilities, requirements, environmental conditions, compensation, and target audience timeframes.
  • Conduct targeted research using internal databases, job boards, schools, professional associations, business contacts, and discussions with other research personnel.
  • Serve as the recruiting liaison for company sponsored committees and initiatives, including college recruitment programs.
  • Research, assemble, analyze, and recommend recruiting metrics.
  • Interview and screen candidates to confirm qualifications for open roles.
  • Perform skills testing and office interviews to evaluate capability and aptitude.
  • Oversee pre-employment requirements, including background investigations (reference checks), drug testing, and physical exams, ensuring compliant applicant tracking flow and record maintenance.
  • Complete the hiring process by drafting offer letters and obtaining sign-off.
  • Present opportunities to qualified candidates and negotiate offers for the most qualified candidate(s).
  • Provide functional guidance, advice, or training to less-experienced recruiting staff, as needed.
  • Support recruiting planning meetings with hiring managers and efficiently fill open positions.
  • Build and maintain qualified candidate pools in advance of hiring needs, including for active and passive candidates.
  • Research and recommend new sources for recruiting, post openings across appropriate print and online channels, and improve the company website recruiting page to support hiring.
  • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Ability to organize and manage an office environment effectively.
  • Experience working with general office equipment, including computer software (MS Office), telephone, and calculator.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to keep and maintain confidential and secure records and information.

Location and Work Setup

This role is limited to candidates being considered and hired in the Miami Lakes, FL area. Work location is in person.
