Job Description
This onsite Recruiting Specialist role in Fort Wayne, IN offers a salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 per year, discretionary bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage plus a 401(k) plan. You will lead full lifecycle recruiting for a Financial Services client, build networks, develop referral pipelines, and implement recruiting strategies to support organizational growth.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective referral sources through internal staff, professional networks, and external community partnerships
- Cultivate centers of influence and generate qualified candidate leads via referrals, networking, advertising campaigns, career fairs, and social media
- Design and execute a comprehensive recruiting plan to meet activity targets and hiring goals
- Engage with community organizations and professional associations to promote opportunities and strengthen employer branding
- Share recruiting successes and the benefits of growth internally
- Lead recruiting marketing initiatives, including advertising campaigns, direct mail, and community events
- Collaborate with fellow recruiters to share leads, insights, and best practices
- Maintain strong knowledge of current roles and clearly communicate career opportunities and expectations to candidates
- Review resumes and conduct initial screenings and interviews
- Oversee all stages of the selection process, including interviewing, evaluation, and candidate guidance
- Ensure consistency, integrity, and fairness throughout the recruiting and selection process
- Identify and implement improvements to improve candidate experience and hiring outcomes
- Coordinate and oversee any pre-hire or pre-start training activities
- Analyze recruiting metrics and conversion ratios to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
- Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline data in applicant tracking or recruiting systems
- Prepare recruiting activity and performance reports for leadership meetings
- Facilitate regular reviews to assess progress, outcomes, and next steps based on data
Requirements
- 3-5 years of prior experience in recruiting, sales, talent acquisition, or a related field
- Experience recruiting within professional services, financial services, or a similar environment is a plus
- Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence and engage candidates
- Proven experience generating leads through outbound outreach, networking, phone, or face-to-face interactions
- Active personal or professional network and community involvement is beneficial
