Job Description

This onsite Recruiting Specialist role in Fort Wayne, IN offers a salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 per year, discretionary bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage plus a 401(k) plan. You will lead full lifecycle recruiting for a Financial Services client, build networks, develop referral pipelines, and implement recruiting strategies to support organizational growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective referral sources through internal staff, professional networks, and external community partnerships
  • Cultivate centers of influence and generate qualified candidate leads via referrals, networking, advertising campaigns, career fairs, and social media
  • Design and execute a comprehensive recruiting plan to meet activity targets and hiring goals
  • Engage with community organizations and professional associations to promote opportunities and strengthen employer branding
  • Share recruiting successes and the benefits of growth internally
  • Lead recruiting marketing initiatives, including advertising campaigns, direct mail, and community events
  • Collaborate with fellow recruiters to share leads, insights, and best practices
  • Maintain strong knowledge of current roles and clearly communicate career opportunities and expectations to candidates
  • Review resumes and conduct initial screenings and interviews
  • Oversee all stages of the selection process, including interviewing, evaluation, and candidate guidance
  • Ensure consistency, integrity, and fairness throughout the recruiting and selection process
  • Identify and implement improvements to improve candidate experience and hiring outcomes
  • Coordinate and oversee any pre-hire or pre-start training activities
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and conversion ratios to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline data in applicant tracking or recruiting systems
  • Prepare recruiting activity and performance reports for leadership meetings
  • Facilitate regular reviews to assess progress, outcomes, and next steps based on data

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in recruiting, sales, talent acquisition, or a related field
  • Experience recruiting within professional services, financial services, or a similar environment is a plus
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence and engage candidates
  • Proven experience generating leads through outbound outreach, networking, phone, or face-to-face interactions
  • Active personal or professional network and community involvement is beneficial
