Recruiter - Entry Level

At Renewal by Andersen, the in-house recruitment role supports the company’s talent development from its Appleton, Wisconsin campus. This entry level position focuses on sourcing candidates, screening, coordinating interviews, onboarding, and providing HR support as part of the HR team. The role offers an hourly wage in the $18 to $20 range and is onsite.

Responsibilities

• Generate candidate leads by attending career fairs, searching resumes, and assisting in crafting job postings for boards.
• Engage with candidates through phone calls, emails, and text messages as part of ongoing outreach.
• Screen applicants against requirements and arrange interviews with Hiring Managers.
• Send confirmation emails and text messages to candidates.
• Follow up with candidates to answer questions about interviews or positions.
• Contribute to special projects such as developing job descriptions for lead sources, conducting I-9 audits, organizing personnel files, preparing new hire documentation, and other assigned tasks.
• Assist in maintaining accurate HR files and records within HRIS, SharePoint, and other applicable platforms.
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource records.
• Provide clerical support to the HRR department.
• Assist with I-9 verification and orientation processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Past experience in over the phone communication is required.
• High school diploma required.
• Must be able to travel to multiple locations as needed, including other offices and job fairs.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
