Recruiter

Join BENNETT MOTOR EXPRESS MANAGEMENT INC in McDonough, GA to recruit Class A and Class B commercial drivers and coordinate recruiting workflow with the safety department.

Responsibilities

• Use established marketing materials to recruit prospective Class A and Class B commercial motor vehicle operators.
• Review submitted applications and confirm candidates meet the company’s current established hiring requirements.
• Coordinate with the safety department to process applications so an approved application can be obtained.
• Support setting orientation class dates for approved candidates.
• Maintain constant follow-up with contacts and applicants to ensure proper representation and understanding for recruiting outcomes.
• Recruit using established marketing venues, including:
  • web-based online sites
  • online applications
  • mail-out marketing materials
  • internal database information
  • inbound calls to the recruiting department
  • cold calling
• Participate in field recruiting events as established by the VP, including truck shows, hiring events, and special needs events.
• Develop and maintain a database of contacts and applicants that can be provided upon request.
• Submit a weekly activities report to the Director.

Requirements

• Full-time salaried position with bonus opportunity.
• Work schedule includes Monday to Friday and varying weekend coverage.
• Ability to utilize telecommunication and computers, with a knowledge-based background of the transportation industry.
• Previous experience recruiting drivers is required.
• Experience with equipment types is a huge plus.
• Must have a working knowledge of computers, fax, and phones.
