Responsibilities
- Identify and attract candidates for open roles via job boards, social networks, referrals, and professional events
- Screen resumes and applications to determine fit
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Conduct reference checks and arrange background screenings
- Draft and extend job offers and assist with pre-employment paperwork
- Verify completion of hiring and onboarding paperwork before orientation
- Enter and maintain data in applicant tracking and HRIS systems
- Verify required licenses and credentials
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events to support efforts
- Monitor and report recruitment metrics
- Develop and implement creative recruitment strategies to attract qualified staff
- Provide regular updates to HR leadership on recruitment activity and challenges
- Deliver professional communication and customer service to applicants, employees, and managers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related recruiting or HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated discretion with confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online recruiting tools
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management
