Attorney

A Cleveland based on-site attorney role focusing on personal injury, responsible for managing a diverse caseload, leading a team of paralegals and case managers, negotiating settlements, and representing clients to secure favorable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and case materials to assess claims.
• Lead pre-litigation negotiations to resolve cases where possible.
• Evaluate policies, claims files, and related documentation.
• Draft, refine, and advocate on legal documents such as memos, theories of liability, and demand letters.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and ensure client medical treatment is appropriately managed and billed.
• Provide clients with regular case status updates and clear guidance.
• Conduct initial intake meetings with new clients.
• Maintain the caseload docket in accordance with firm policy.
• Attend and participate in IMEs, EUOs, and recorded statements as required.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and professional standards in all actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years in pre-litigation personal injury practice.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and writing abilities.
• Proficiency with standard computer software and office tools; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written electronic channels.
• Capacity to analyze corrective action opportunities and present actionable recommendations.
• Solid analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Current Ohio law license in good standing (required).
• Preferred: 3+ years of personal injury law experience.
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44114 (required).
