Job Description

Join The College of Westchester on campus in White Plains, NY as an Admissions Enrollment Recruiter. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive annual salary range of $66,300 to $73,000, with evenings and rotating fractional Saturdays as part of the schedule. You will guide prospective students through the admissions process, conduct interviews and campus tours, and help drive enrollment outcomes. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and the position supports a collaborative campus culture with strong ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound calls and texts to prospective students to schedule advisement appointments
  • Meet with prospective students to clearly explain program options and advise on suitable programs aligned with interests, qualifications, and career goals
  • Provide excellent customer service through professional, consistent outreach and engagement
  • Represent the College on campus and off campus to prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders involved in the college selection process
  • Attend all admissions department meetings and training sessions
  • Accurately account for all prospective student inquiries, applicants, and required admissions activity
  • Complete daily activity reports
  • Ensure enrollment paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Keep all required reports current in the student information data system
  • Adhere to a strict code of ethics and comply with College policies, state and federal laws, and accrediting body regulations
  • Network and build strong relationships to generate personally developed referrals
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure student success and satisfaction
  • Assist in planning and implementation of on-campus events and programs for groups and individuals
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; some roles prefer a Bachelor's degree
  • Passion for helping others achieve educational and career goals
  • 3-5 years of recruitment, sales, or related experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills with effective follow-up and follow-through
  • Strong computer skills; experience with CRM systems is a plus
  • Ability to work well with and mentor others
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work some evenings and rotating fractional Saturdays
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Technologies

Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Slate, HubSpot, and the Student Information Data System.
