Job Description

This temporary full-time Recruiter role is based onsite in Commerce, CA for approximately two months. The position focuses on sourcing, attracting, and engaging candidates while managing full-cycle recruiting and ensuring hiring activities remain compliant with employment and labor law requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement recruiting strategies using tools including social media management platforms, ATS, and HRIS systems such as Workday, iCIMS, or PeopleSoft
Research and identify potential candidates through cold calling, networking, campus recruitment, and lead generation
Run full-cycle recruiting, including resume screening, interviewing support, offer negotiation, and extending employment contracts
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment plans aligned to those requirements
Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to support a positive candidate experience
Track candidate progress in applicant tracking systems such as Lever or Taleo and create recruitment reports as needed
Stay current on employment and labor law regulations to support compliance across hiring activities
Support onboarding activities, including employee orientation and training and development initiatives
Assist with succession planning by identifying high-potential candidates for future leadership roles
Use social media management tools to strengthen employer branding and attract diverse talent pools

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, executive recruiting, or HR sourcing roles
Proficiency with ATS platforms, including iCIMS, Taleo, Lever, or Workday; familiarity with HRIS systems such as Kronos or UltiPro is advantageous
Strong understanding of employment and labor law compliance and contracts management
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with candidates and stakeholders
Knowledge of sales techniques such as cold calling and lead generation to proactively identify talent opportunities
Experience using social media management for employer branding
Familiarity with HR management systems including Salesforce, Paychex, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Demonstrated skills in employee relations, employee evaluation processes, and human resources management practices
