Job Description

Northwestern Mutual offers a competitive compensation package and a clear path for growth in a collaborative downtown Tacoma office. This onsite role focuses on sourcing, recruiting, and selecting financial advisors for the local office, building strong relationships, and executing targeted recruiting strategies. The position is based in Downtown Tacoma and reports to the Managing Director.

Compensation includes a base salary of $65,000 to $65,001 per year, with bonus potential and full benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the recruiting plan to help achieve production targets
  • Leverage internal referrals to generate candidate leads
  • Source qualified candidates via LinkedIn and other channels
  • Promote the benefits of network growth and recruiting successes within the office
  • Coordinate advertising and marketing efforts within the firm and community
  • Articulate the advisor career path and each step of the selection process
  • Review resumes and schedule initial interviews
  • Conduct pre screening and initial interviews of all candidates entering the process
  • Guide candidates through the multi-step selection process
  • Participate in firm wide leadership development workshops

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
