Job Description
Sun Technologies offers an on-site Talent Acquisition Recruiter role in Melbourne, FL with a competitive pay range of USD 25 - 28 per hourly. This position focuses on University Relations and Recruiting within the Aeronautics sector, providing the opportunity to build university partnerships, craft campus recruiting strategies, and manage end-to-end UR&R activities with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities
- Establish and manage strategic relationships with target universities and student organizations aligned to business needs
- Build long-term university partnerships across faculty, career services, and student groups
- Design and implement campus recruiting strategies to create a sustainable early career talent pipeline in engineering and emerging technologies
- Maintain a keep-warm approach for candidates across academic cycles
- Screen, assess, and present qualified early career candidates aligned to defined hiring profiles
- Collaborate with hiring managers to refine candidate criteria and selection approaches
- Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers on early career talent markets and campus strategy
- Lead planning and execution of campus events, networking sessions, and student engagement initiatives
- Promote company culture, values, and mission alignment to strengthen brand presence
- Ensure a seamless, high-quality candidate experience through clear communication and transparent processes
- Leverage data insights to inform campus strategy aligned with business sustainability and affordability posture
- Adhere to recruiting policies, university guidelines, and compliance requirements
- Manage full lifecycle recruitment for regional and site-specific early career and internship requisitions
- Collaborate with Enterprise and Sector UR&R teams to participate in university partnerships
- Update candidate activity in the ATS to maintain data integrity
- Develop and analyze UR&R metrics
- Implement process improvements that drive operating excellence
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including students, university partners, hiring managers, and leadership
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting or University Relations, or Bachelor’s Degree with 0 years of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Travel up to 25% is required
- Based in Melbourne, FL or within a reasonable commuting distance
