Ace Hardware is seeking a Talent Acquisition Operations Partner for Ace Hardware Home Services, based in Oak Brook, IL with a hybrid work model. The role centers on designing, optimizing, and scaling talent attraction and recruiting programs for skilled trades and frontline positions, guided by data insights and cross-functional collaboration. Salary range: $76,300 to $95,500 per year.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with talent acquisition leaders to craft recruitment marketing plans aligned with hiring demand.
- Develop programs that establish steady pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles.
- Identify gaps in attraction strategies and propose new channels, partners, or solutions.
- Streamline and standardize workflows, tools, and processes across the hiring lifecycle.
- Improve efficiency, consistency, and the candidate and hiring team experience.
- Assist with the implementation of new tools and technologies from configuration through adoption.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics such as funnel conversion, sourcing performance, and requisition volume.
- Translate data into clear insights that inform strategy and stakeholder decisions.
- Develop reporting that promotes accountability and transparency.
- Support programs across CRM, trade schools, skilled trades partnerships, military talent, and inclusive recruiting initiatives.
- Help shift the business from reactive hiring to proactive pipeline development.
- Collaborate with HR Managers, Hiring Managers, and Operations leaders.
- Influence adoption of best practices and standardized hiring approaches.
- Act as a trusted strategic partner for recruitment initiatives.
- Manage relationships with recruiting and marketing partners.
- Coordinate hiring events, career fairs, and local hiring activations.
- Maintain and improve documentation, playbooks, and process guides.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in talent acquisition operations, recruitment marketing, or employer branding.
- Experience in high-volume decentralized hiring environments; exposure to skilled trades or home services is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with a record of delivering end-to-end initiatives.
- Comfort using AI tools for content creation, reporting, and campaign optimization.
- Ability to translate data into clear, compelling insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Hands-on, builder mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems; Workday is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
