Spanish-speaking community recruiter for caregiver study

Social Lens Research is seeking a Spanish-speaking community recruiter in Orlando, Florida to help identify and refer three low-income women aged 65+ caregivers for a short, location-based study in the United States. This is a flexible, short-term side opportunity focused on trusted local outreach.

Role and Location

Location: Orlando, FL (onsite)

Compensation structure: Payment per accepted referral, with additional options available depending on your preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote the study through local churches, senior groups, community centers, or personal networks.
• Share the study sign-up link, or assist individuals with completing the form on a phone if they have technology challenges.
• Inform each potential participant that participation is always her choice.
• Provide updates to Social Lens Research as referred women sign up.

Who You Will Help Recruit

The study requires women who meet the following criteria. Your referrals should be:

• Women 65 years or older with a low income living in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, or the Louisville, Kentucky area.
• Caregivers of a family member who is sick or has a disability, providing care without pay.
• Comfortable using a smartphone (a family member can assist with smartphone use).
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Connected to their community and able to respond about their local knowledge.

Additional backgrounds that align well include:

• Bilingual students in nursing or social work.
• Promotoras.
• Church volunteers.

What Participants Do (for Context)

• Complete a short sign-up form in Spanish and record a brief video for eligibility review.
• If accepted, record short video answers in Spanish on their phone from home (approximately 90 minutes total, on their own time).
• Receive $200 when they complete the study.

Compensation and Payment Details

• $100 per accepted referral (up to $300 total for 3 accepted referrals).
• Paid as soon as each woman is accepted into the study.
• Payment methods: Giftbit, Venmo, or PayPal.
• Open to a flat fee arrangement for your time if you prefer.
• Up to $300.00 per day is listed in the posting.
