Recruiting Specialist

Schneider is hiring a Recruiting Specialist in Green Bay, WI to support truck driver recruiting on-site. This part-time role (1st Shift) helps connect qualified candidates with the right driving opportunities while giving you a structured schedule and a clear pathway to impact.

You will make early candidate contact, handle inbound and outbound communication, and guide applicants through the first stages of the process. If you enjoy phone, chat, and message-based recruiting work and can balance screening with strong communication, this position provides meaningful responsibility from day one.

What you will do

• Answer incoming phone calls, chat messages, and text messages from truck driver candidates.
• Follow up with applicants when needed to keep the recruiting process moving.
• Review candidate applications for disqualifying factors and flag concerns.
• Screen candidates and answer questions about the driving position they applied for.
• Review the job applied for and discuss other opportunities if the candidate is not a fit for the original role.
• Make hiring decisions based on candidates’ qualifications.
• Make initial contact with truck driver prospects using outbound calls and texts/online messages, then set up interviews with Driver Recruiters.

What you bring

• Associate degree in business administration, human resources, sales, or related field.
• 1–2 years of professional work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and work model

• Work model: On-Site
• Location: Green Bay, WI, USA
• Shift: 1st Shift
• Schedule: Part-time, Monday to Friday, either 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
