Job Description

Based onsite in Dothan, Alabama, this HR Recruiter role coordinates the recruitment process across SpectraCare's mental health, substance use, and developmental disabilities divisions. The position focuses on building and maintaining a qualified staff pool, coordinating with program managers, and communicating staffing plans with management. Travel may be required.

Role Overview

The HR Recruiter is tasked with managing all facets of talent acquisition for multiple clinical divisions, developing a robust candidate pipeline, and guiding the offer process in collaboration with the Director of Human Resources. The role requires proactive communication with program managers and management to ensure staffing needs are met in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment and selection for all SpectraCare roles in alignment with program standards.
  • Actively source candidates through diverse channels such as job fairs, college events, social media, and job boards to build a strong talent pool.
  • Screen applicants by reviewing resumes and applications to ensure alignment with Alabama Department of Mental Health standards and program descriptions.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews as needed to advance qualified candidates.
  • Fill open positions efficiently to meet the staffing demands of SpectrumCare programs.
  • Perform new hire screenings including reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle records, TB tests, OIG exclusions, SAMS, and drug screens.
  • Remain informed about recruiting trends and best practices to improve sourcing and selection methods.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources during the offer process, identifying start dates, salary negotiations, and other pertinent details.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Business, Human Resources and/or related field required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of Human Resources experience with knowledge of employment law, procedures, and recruiting.
  • Possession of a valid Driver License with a good MVR.
  • Free from DUI and reckless driving convictions for the previous three (3) years.

Required Qualifications / Education / Experience

  • BS Degree in Business, Human Resources and/or related field required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of Human Resources experience with knowledge of employment law and recruiting.
  • Possession of a valid Driver License with a good MVR.
  • Free from DUI and reckless driving convictions for the previous three (3) years.

Preferred Qualifications / Education / Experience

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Five (5) plus years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in mental health, substance abuse, or intellectual disability fields.
