Driver Recruiter

Shoreline Transportation is hiring a full-time Driver Recruiter for its Montgomery, AL terminal.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with prospective hires regarding the benefits of becoming a Shoreline Driver
• Handle recruiting outreach, including cold calling and responding to potential candidates
• Receive, review, and enter driver resumes and applications
• Pre-qualify new hires for next steps in the hiring process
• Support driver processing activities, including background checks, MVR and DAC screens, and employment verifications
• Coordinate key onboarding steps such as scheduling physicals, administering drug tests, and organizing orientation
• Assist with completing the overall hiring process for drivers
• Support recruiting operations by contributing to the weekly recruiting report
• Participate in career fairs and other driver recruiting opportunities
• Assist with EFS, safety-related needs, and other requests for Shoreline and Tri-National, Inc. as needed
• Manage job boards and support recruiting presence through social media accounts
• Assist with clerical duties, including sorting daily paperwork tied to billing and payroll, plus other requests from Shoreline and Tri-National, Inc. management

Requirements

• Knowledge of Transportation/Logistics
• Knowledge of JIT Freight
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a positive attitude
• Background in Human Resources/Recruiting (plus)
• CDL Class A (preferred)
• Recruiting experience: 1 year (preferred)
